| If you own a 486, Pentium or other newer (post-1993) computer running Windows 95/98, your screen should be at the 800 x 600 resolution or higher. Nearly all computers made after 1993 support higher screen resolutions. Unfortunately, when you bought your computer, it was likely set to the lowest resolution of 640 x 480. Many people haven't changed to a higher resolution. However, most Web sites including this one are optimized for 800 x 600 display and higher.
