Coach Jordan devotes his Notebook to anyone interested in basketball, but especially volunteers who want to coach the game. Here he offers a collection of notes from his experience as a coach with this advise to you: "You do not need a college degree in physical education to be successful directing a basketball team. Essential qualities you do need are knowledge of the game rules, requirements stipulated by the program (1st aid training, fees, etc.) and the ability to communicate with your players. The rest you will learn when you get out there and just do it".
